Where in gods name can I get my hands on the Y236906? Seems like you can find the lower voltage transformers anywhere and everywhere but all the 115v+115v models are unicorns...
Any help is greatly appreciated.

But I thought they only sell in quantity directly hence the reason there had to be a minimum order of 10 for the 1000va 115v+115v one...?
If they sell singles, I will give them a call asap."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

The 1000VA is special order, 10-piece minimum. The 800VA can be ordered as a single. I don't think there's been a group buy since I ran one, and that was quite some time ago. So there may likely be enough interest built up since I ran the group buy that you could get another 10-piece order arranged. Pop up a thread and see if there's interest, doesn't hurt to try. If you can't find 10 people, then buy the 800VA. The 1000VA is awesome, but the 800VA ain't no slacker.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Just ordered one this morning, 860-355-4711Home Theater/2 Channel:

FYI, the part number for the 1000VA from A/L is AV-047548. Cost when ordering 10 pcs. was $268.43 back in 2012. I know there is a 1000VA iso transformer that you can order 1 piece, but it is not audio grade. The one we got in the group buy is the "GOSS Band, Low Noise Design".Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Ah ok. Correct.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance. -
One thing nice about the group buy was that the price included Priority Mail shipping, and they unit shipped to each of the purchasers. So the person organizing the group buy just needs to collect funds and pay Avel. But no need to receive the 10 pcs and then ship out to the individual buyers, Avel does that for you.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

The only variation was one person in the group buy needed to pay extra shipping because he lived in Canada.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Yeah, for the group buy they didn't offer individual shipping choices, it was flat rate Priority Mail for everyone. I just provided the addresses.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

I built and used both. As someone above said, the 1000VA is better, but the 800VA is awfully good as well. It'll still bring improvement even with common ground amps (for which it's not necessary as an interface)."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer

Thanks for the info guys. westmassguy, mind if I ask what it cost? Not that cost is going to be an object, I just want to know what to expect. hehe."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
