SVS PB2-Plus Subwoofer - Price: $500 local pickup
This sub is an oldie but a goodie, and was known as a top performer when it first came out for $1250. I am the second owner of this sub and it has been working flawlessly in my system since June 2007. This thing is a beast at 18 wide x 28" deep x 25 tall and ~105lbs. This sub features dual 12" downward firing drivers, 3 tunable ports, and a ~900watt BASH amp. It was known for it's prodigious bass and does not disappoint. The only reason for the sale is I upgraded to dual HSU ULS-15s to help with WAF and to try out dual subs.
Condition:
I am the second owner of this subwoofer and would rate it 8/10 on the Agon scale. It has a matte black textured finish so it is resistant to dings and dents, and the only cosmetic issues I noticed are a few very light scuffs which don't show up in pics (or from more then a couple feet away). Pics can be seen here.
Terms:
Accepting Paypal gift, USPS money order, or cash. I have the two port plugs, a reprint of the manual, and will throw in a free Auralex Gramma. This is for pickup only in Bristol CT, which is south of Hartford. I have feedback on Head-Fi and on Audiogon. For sale in the US only.

Nope. If you look in the pics I have a close up of the amp w/ S/N, or if its easy to identify let me know and I should be able to figure it out. I never changed them and don't recall the original owner mentioning anything about it. -

IIRC the silver drivers w/o the logo are the 12.1 version, silver with the SVS logo are 12.2, black is the upgraded 12.3. -

Thanks Ken. I will take a look when I get home. -
Why does this have to be so far away!!! I'd snap this up in a heartbeat to have dual SVS's in the HT. Shipping is probably a killer though. It weighs a ton. GLWTS!____________________________________________________________

Yup, its a 12.5 hour trip one way for me. If it was 8 or under one way I would be talking to my wife right now about when I was leaving."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Sounds like I have 12.1 drivers then, as they are silver w/ no logo. -
This is a tremendous bargain deal on an excellent subwoofer from one of the most well respected sub companies out there. Run don't walk, this will sell fast.

I hate to add to the already long list of "this is a great deal" replies, but THIS IS A GREAT DEAL. There is no way I'd sell mine for $500. I drove 3 hours one way to buy mine for $900 and it probably the best purchase I've ever made.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Looks to me like this is the PB12- Plus/2 with silver version 12.1 drivers. I have a pair of these in my HT with the 12.3 (black) drivers in both. I set them up using a SMS-1 and have one tuned to 20Hz (one foam plug) and one with no plugs. I run an RT5000 system with an extra pair of RT3000p satellites for rear surrounds. Lack of bass is not a problem. My 7.4.4 DIY 4k Home Theater:

Wowza, I had one and that got intense. Hell, I had to get two ULS-15s to match the output of this badboy, though dual subs had additional perks. Yeah, my understanding is the PB2-Plus was renamed to the PB12-Plus/2, and I have also seen it listed as the PB2+. -

I wouldn't sell my 25-31PC+ for $500 and this is on another level entirely. If this was even a days drive away I'd be all over it. -
I run 12.3 drivers in my dual PB12/plus 2 subs and they get low and hit hard. This is an excellent deal.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Thanks everyone, still here, and a bump for the weekend crowd. I also have my Gallos, a Pre/Pro and a nice IcePower Stereo Amp all for sale.
-
A couple people have asked about me transporting this, and its just not feasible more then 30 miles or so as my vehicle is unable to fit this behemoth. I could borrow a truck from family, but that's it's own production.
-
This bad boy is still sitting in my basement gathering dust...

Less. I am in Suffield, CT every other weekend and could relatively easily transport it up there. -
If there was any way for me to get up there and pick this up, it would be mine. Hopefully an impromptu business trip requires me to go close to CT so I can have an excuse to go get itShawn
