Hi all

Just got a pair of SDA 1C, have been looking for a while. They seem to be in good shape. All drivers work. Can wait to get home for some real testing and more pics. Hope the links works that is my first flickr posting, cant upload pics from phone.

    If I were to get SDA's, those are the ones i'd have my eye on. Congrats! They look like they're in great shape. Let us know how you like them.

    Well first impressions are really good did some listening last night. Like how wide and open they sound. Love the wide front stage and this is with the speakers not properly set. I will do more listening today and work on the set-up over the weekend.

    Very nice set of SDA's, congrats.

    I would suggest spikes along with the other mods, RDO's for sure as well. I have a pair of these completely modded and its well worth it in the end.

    Is a Cary AE-3 pair with a Parasound 2125. Not sure yet if the 585 is common ground.

    Never heard the old B&Ws,seems to be a lot of us chasing older speakers.

    This is a repeated question but here it goes.

    Is the Adcom 585 common ground?

    I will like to try the 1C's with that amp. Have look all over the web and still get mixed reviews.

    Those are beautiful. Was you able to get the cord from seller ? How do you have them set up ? Sometimes it takes awhile to get them just right. I have a stinking doorway into the office i had to work around :( smaller rooms makes it hard but the 1c's seem to still sound good :smile:

    The 585 it is common ground it just make the Parasound cry and I am still using the Onkyo have not gone using the pre. These things can play loud and clear. All I can say is WOW.........................................Led Zeppelin and ZZ TOP sounds great. Will play some Diane Krall later.....
