Yeah Red, Fred don't play no rock n' roll. Great quote. Old school country blues, voice in the left channel, electric guitar in the right. Probably my all-time favorite country blues guitarist. And that's one of my favorite Fred McDowell albums. Another good one is Fred McDowell and Johnny Woods "Mama Says I'm Crazy" recorded by George Mitchell in 1967. But I'm also partial to Lightning Hopkins and this is my favorite album, great SQ:
