Lynyrd Skynyrd ~ Street Survivors (expanded edition) ~ 1977/2001 MCA Records

2nd favorite Skynyrd album. I still get feel strange seeing Steve Gaines engulfed in flames standing next to Ronnie, who knew what was going to happen not long after this one was released. I liked the direction they were going after adding Gaines to their lineup, sadly we will never know where that direction was going.

That's what I'm talking about. Seen that one, Completion Backward tour and then a few years ago I was disappointed. Music was still great but the show wasn't the spectacle it used to be. Now onto some Rory Gallagher: Live In Europe.

Am i reading this wrong or was someone here at cp once in the tubes?

I still love spinning "Remote Control", 35 years after we all got together in my barracks in dc to drink, to cough, to play backgammon,
and to spin that one and the cars debut album among many others.

I first heard of them concerning their '"Mondo Bondage" tour, always regretted not catching them in d.c., I believe at the cellar door club.

a friend said their lead guitarist was exceptional.

80s? I saw them play that song, and others, in Santa Cruz around 77 or 78. If I remember correctly.
