Hello, Jhayman. Ever since I put in the Boston album [CD, RB] I have been searching online for the best version of said album. It's great music, no doubt, but it is recorded a bit bright to these ears. In order to get good lower registers, I have to crank it to where my ears bleed. There are apparently three digital versions; RB, MFSL and a Japan version. The reviews are all over the place. I remember it sounding bright years ago on different rigs but daggum. Eight O'clock on the dial was about all I could stand.

Anybody here heard a different version other than the redbook? I have it on vinyl but the vinyl rig is down at the moment due to upgrading.

Saw this trio last night. Spectacular. Best thing I've heard in a long long time. Twists familiar jazz standard lines into something complex and intriguing, from moderately dissonant to sweet and lovely. Very dynamic in all respects. Shows a lot of creativity and curiosity, exploring many potential paths from the line. Amazing, gifted drummer. Rare opportunity to see someone this damn good. Go see them if you get the chance. Tour is listed here. Cd is excellent and well recorded.

Just got back from returning my Norah Jones LP..
It has a, I believe a manufacturing defect where the left channel would produce a few distortion points in the song , I changed Carts and TT's to verify..
Anyway I came back with this Beauty..
