Mornin' fellas...today starts out with some Kenny. No, not Kenny G. The other one.

Chumlie, dig that Patti Smith. I think some of her new stuff is WAY underappreciated. See her if you get the chance, she's still got it and her band is great.

    Attachment not found.
Seen her do The Horses Tour many many moons ago. Will have to take a listen to her new one.

Hello, danz1906. If you dig what you are currently listening too, I would check out this one. It's readily available and it's one of my reference discs for checking out various aspects of what a rig can or can not do.

Chumlie, I saw her in 1978 and it was a magical show. Seen her many times since and might see her again in May in New Orleans at Jazzfest. As far as her new stuff, I recommend Gone Again, Trampin, and Twelve is okay but not great (all covers and a couple are not my favorites). The new one Banga is growing on me. Sometimes her stuff takes a while. I'm not a big fan of Dream of Life in general. Her kid with Sonic Smith plays one of the guitars in the band as a rule.

Rick, that's too funny. Well......maybe it's really weird or perhaps just coincidental but I just put in this...

Never heard them before. Well, never really heard of them before until I purchased a lot of CD's that this one happened to have been in. We'll see how they sound....

It's definitely different. I'm guessing a Scottish type band that seems to be a sort of acoustical hard rock band with a twist. Decent recording so far. I'm only on song #5 [which I'm really digging] and I may have to take a break from listening. Apparently, because of the weather, my son's school will be closing early. Looks like we are headed for an ice storm so far but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. No electricity = no listening.

Well, already done with ABBA. [Note to self: sell that album as quickly as possible] Ended up skipping through most of the songs. It reminded me of when I first heard a CD. The digital edge made my ears cringe. Ugh! I shall redeem myself with a good recording and some great music now. May the audio Gods please forgive and have mercy on me for my previous selection.
