Not completely audiophile, but pretty cool for 1982 alt/electronic. I remembered some of the songs from the days when I was barely a teen , but I had not expected the quality of the production. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

Damn. As the rig has progressed? This song is freakin' awesome. The lows really fill in the spatial information and complete the sound track.

Olias Of Sunhillow. I've always considered this a masterpiece, but it might not be for everyone.

I have that on vinyl too. Prog-Psych to me. It's in a box that I haven't opened since 2004. Bought it when it came out because I had the first three Yes albums. Also around that time I bought Chris Squire's-Fish Out of Water (which I like better). I need to get those original albums of mine that are boxed, re-opened. I know there will be several gems I forgot I had.

I pretty much like all the solo albums from the Yes members. I’ve seen Jon several times solo acoustic and also with Jean Luc Ponty in small to medium sized venues. Always such class. I passed on an opportunity to see Yes in late ‘74 or early ‘75 ( and Led Zeppelin about same time) two regrets and I don’t have many. But seeing Jon solo acoustic helped ameliorate that.Gardenstater wrote: »Olias Of Sunhillow. I've always considered this a masterpiece, but it might not be for everyone.
