Yeah, I have pretty much all of them on vinyl, very many original vinyl, but still the thought that I was playing Sticky Fingers in my bedroom every day 50 years ago is freaky. Sure was a heck of a creative period. -

I had many of them when they first came out, however I gave away my turntable and records in the mid 80s, and have rebought some of them on CDs. However, I now listen to, and buy, new music.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

It was a prolific period for enduring, well crafted music for sure.
I have unofficially quit collecting physical media having purchased very little in the last few years (same goes for gear). One factor is my age plus the fact that none of my kids (or grandkids so far) show much interest in the LPs and tapes. My youngest daughter has shown more interest than the rest, but she's 18 and heading for college in the fall then off to what life has to offer.

One of the most beloved entertainers ever to grace a blues stage, Junior Wells left us in 1998, but he lives on in a new way today with collection that takes his original vocal and harmonica gymnastics and remasters him with new backing from several of the top guitarists on the scene today.
His longtime partner-in-crime, Buddy Guy, is nowhere in sight, and some of the tunes here have a little harder edge than you’ll remember with backing from Joe Louis Walker, Bernard Allison, Kirk Fletcher, Colin James, Eric Gales, Tyler Bryant, Mike Zito, Popa Chubby, Guitar Shorty and Albert Castiglia. Rhode Island-based harp player James Montgomery appears on six of the 13 cuts, adding a little fire, but consistently paying homage to the front man.

I saw Cactus in a small club in Central Wisconsin in the early ‘70’s. They blew the roof off the mother. Rusty Day was singer. IIRC he left shortly thereafter, and he formed a band called Mad John Fever, which played in a bar near me not long after. I talked with him after the set. He was shot in his home about ten years later allegedly in a drug deal gone bad. -
Oops, thinking about it more, it was the first singer of REO Speedwagon who started Mad John Fever. Rusty Day was killed in a bad drug deal tho about ten years after I saw them
