It would be more helpful if instead of posting a simple picture of the album cover, which anyone can do, if ya'll wrote a review of the album because this one case where a picture is not worth a thousand words.

I will do this for all albums in the future. :)
    Good idea.
P.S. That sounded like a sarcastic comment, but it wasn't.

Not likely I’ll write any reviews of my musical posts. Unless it’s something very unusual as most of the music I post is common and well known. I just share what I’m listening to at the moment. I don’t have as much free time as I used to. The Mrs. is on my case to get the old homestead ship shape. She wants to put the house on the market in the spring and then there’s going to be a move to Ohio. So we can be near our youngest. Had a rough go here this summer. Was out 9 weeks with surgery. I’ve only been back to work a few weeks. I’m having a tough time after being down so long getting back into the swings of things. It gets tougher every year.

@F1nut I hope you’re enjoying your recent venture into the wonderful world of analog again. BTW: I had a long talk with David the other day and I hope he’s up and kicking tail real soon. He’s too nice guy to have this much strife in his life.

I’ve visited Ohio quite a few times now. Hopefully we can find a nice quiet spot near Sarah. She’s living in Hartville now with her future in-laws. It’s only a 5.5 hour drive from here but that’s just far enough to make it tough to go for the weekend. The wife misses her terribly and so do I.

My grandma found this (on vinyl) at a garage sale for me, and although I can’t listen to the record right now, I can on my tablet. :)

    Doyle Bramhall II-Shades

    Per Jesse's Request
Ok you Bramhall II fans it's not as guitar prominent as Jellycream, or Welcome, not as good as his debut. I would say it is a excellent addition to his last one Rich Man. He has a few guests, Eric Clapton, Norah Jones, and The Tedeschi Trucks band are all on a few tracks. If you are a Doyle fan like myself then this one is another fine addition to your Bramhall II collection.

    Eric Gales-Relentless
    Eric Gales-Good For Sumthin

Those of you familiar with Eric know what your getting when you put on some EG, those of you that dont, think Electric Blues, some Fussion and Rock the man is a phenomenal guitarist and has mastered the styles of music he covers. The Relentless album is just that Relentless.

    Trying a F1nut post:
    Listening to Animals-Pink Floyd
    Specifically Dogs
Bass and middle guitar riffs are surrounding me completely. Subtle hints of the piano/organ pop in and out from the background. Transitions into the dog barking actually sounds like it’s coming from outside. Guitars come back in and dominate you he landscape. The new guitar sound really honed on Wish You Were Here.
Back in with the vocals now and the harmonizing in the chorus seems to be almost liquid like.
Love this band for a chill Saturday after one kick **** day or Eggtoberfest and sporting clay shooting (yes both today :) )

Yeah, Rick could rock! Saw him in a little bar in the mid to late 70's called The Rafters, and there were literally people hanging onto the rafters, he blew the roof off the mother! That was after playing with Johnny of course, and maybe Edgar (?) If Rick played with Edgar in the mid-70's I saw him then also but for some reason I can't remember much about that concert. Lol.

I saw him in Sarasota, Florida in '82; Burlington, Vermont in '84; and Colchester, Vermont in '93. "Derringer Live" was my favorite album in high school. (At least after friends of my parents threw my copy of "Kiss Alive II" into their fireplace. In retrospect, they did me a favor.) :'( >:) :p
