SIHAB, I had not heard that album in its entirety in years. Forgot how enjoyable he was to listen too. He only lives about an hour away from me, FWIW.

Up in rotation now, one of my favorite all time performers - Mr. Mark Knopfler live and on SACD...

Telegraph road and Private investigations are two of my personal fav's at this concert. Just plain ol' great music....nothing like most of today's choices. Actual music.

I have every Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler, Nottingham Hillbillies the only one missing in my collection is Alchemy. I see a couple of SACD'S on ebay right now. I have been wanting one and see them ranging from $40-$75 thanks to you I will probably break down and get the one that's in my cart. In the meantime this one will do.

There is at least a dozen SACD's of this on E-bay, but if you have it on Blu-Ray your probably good.

Hmmm, I did not know it was on Blu-Ray. Might have to check that out.

Gudnoyez, I can't say I have every album he ever made but I have to be close. I have been privy to many a concert that was never released to the general public. One of these, I spoke of many years ago here on the forum. Live in Bergen, if memory serves is the one I tried to get everyone to listen too. It took about 2 or 4 years but someone finally found a way to get that concert.

There is an underground "secret" club of rich folk that tour the world, following the concerts he performs at. A friend of mine up in Canada has about 200 or so concerts available at his fingertips. Some sound "okay", others are near CD quality. A few have recordings that are outstanding. I do not know how they get these recordings but it is a very well guarded secret. One has to be "in the club" in order to access the website or cloud or whatever it is they use to share the concerts.

If ever I win the lottery, I'll get into this club one way or another...until then, I am thrown the scraps from my buddy....and I'll take them!!!

The top two performers I have in my collection are Pink Floyd/David Gilmore and Mark Knopfler with pretty much any band he plays in. Taking 3rd spot is Sarah McLachlan, which we will be seeing perform again in February. Between just these 3 performers, I conservatively have at least 70 albums/concerts on all sorts of formats.
