Time to relax with a little jazz after a fun day of sealing and insulating ductwork. If you haven't heard him play, he is frequently compared to Miles Davis, but he's got a little Ornette Colemen in him too. This one features his quartet quite a bit and is really nicely recorded

Had a couple days off this week so I'm listening to a lot of music. I picked up a couple of discs tonight. One is the DualDisc remaster of Little Creatures (Talking Heads) which sounds really good. My original CD copy is a little thin in comparison.

But I gotta say I'm really digging Thievery Corporation right now. This is the 2006re-release of their first effort.

Ahhhhhh! The smell of old vinyl! I know it well! I was just cleaning some vinyl on the VPI. It definately has a distinct smell. When you come to Pittsburgh next holiday season, I'll take you to a vinyl store why the entire store (5,000 ft2? and over 1,000,000 LPs) smell like that. Look Here. also visit Here
