You can shop eBay, they come up from time to time or you can build a Dreadnaught or Dreadnought......do a search on both spellings.

Building a Dreadnought (or Dreadnaught) is easy; even I have built two of them, and I'm not at all competent in this stuff. There is plenty of good guidance on this Forum.

However, my ears aren't too bad, and I have heard the big difference that a Dreadnought makes on both my SRS1.2s and 1Cs.

It's worth the time and effort, and it's fun besides.

In the Dreadnought for the 1Cs I used a Toroid of Maryland 767.1202 (670 VA), which is easy to purchase. You can go larger, if you prefer. I used the 670 VA because Perreaux techs recommended it when I first discovered that I needed an isolation transformer to use with my monoblocks (not common ground). Check the following URL:

    http://www.toroid.com/standard_transformers/isolation_transformers/isolation_commercial.htm

In the one for the SRS1.2s I used an Avel-Lindberg 1000 VA, which is available by special order. There have been a couple of group buys organized by Forum members. The Avel-Linberg transformer would be better for the 2.3TLs, in my opinion.

DarqueKnight's threads on this topic are "definitive" reading -- all the information and instructions you could ever need.

Before you call Avel to order the audio quality 1000 VA version, part #AV-047548......it is a special order, minimum of 10 at about $275.00 each. Don't even ask for it if you're not placing an order for 10.

Instead get the audio quality 800 VA version, part #Y236906 at about $120.00. The stock 1000 VA version is not audio quality.

I'm assuming the voltage rating of the xfrmr doesn't matter. BTW, I think I'll buy from Antek. Their prices are much more reasonable.

I believe those were checked out and found to be not as good as the Avel.

Before buying an Antek, try to get some info from them regarding their design philosophy in addressing electrical and mechanical noise.

I don't know if anyone else here checked out the Antek transformers. I tried to, but after four requests for technical information went unanswered, I gave up. I did try a Plitron model 6166 1000VA transformer, but it didn't sound as good as the Avel 1000VA AV-047548.
I have completed an evaluation of the Plitron 1000VA 6166 isolation transformer. A full review will be posted sometime next week.

In summary, the sound quality of the Plitron was between that of the A-L 800VA Y236906 and the A-L 1000VA AV-047528. The 1000VA A-L provided a wider and deeper sound stage, more image weight and more overall clarity and detail, particularly in the bass. The A-L is larger and has better build quality than the Plitron.

All I know is that the Anteks were designed specifically for low noise audio applications. I'll be using one in my new class D amp build as well.

pay close attention to what DK has to say he has done a ton of research and has the chops to back it up. He is like the EF Hutton of all things Polk and Electrical engineering...

I may have an Avel 800 va that I may want to part with as well as a brand new enclosure. I ran one of the first group orders for the 1000 va and used it while waiting for the order to be filled. You would have to purchase the binding posts and assemble the unit yourself. if interested, pm me.

All I know is I trust the electrical engineer with the PhD who has done TONS of actual testing and measuring specifically with SDAs. I'll be using his advice when I build mine.

If you already had the answer, why did you need to ask the question?

Yu should heed the advice of DK, IMHO!
