I like how the grill just flips down to show off the modification.

Looks like some hot rodded RT12s (?).

Very nice...I think that flip-down grille was only an option on the Platinum model.

I did the opposite... dropped in Polk tweeter in Klipsch RF3.

I either added Klipsch RF3 to the Polk tweeter or added Polk tweeter to Klipsch RF3.
    Either way...

Hehe... it's temporary just for testing as the Klipsch tweeter is toast. The SL-2000 does produce highs but is not as efficient as the Klipsch tweeter.

Even the SL2000 probably sounds better than a Klipsch Horn :)

You are probably right, especially with the heritage series horn.
I've had both Heresy and KG4 (KG4 is much better sounding than the Heresy IMO) and they are too bright but the KSP-400 and these RF3 are much less compared to them.
I enjoy KSP-400 without noticing any harshness that I noticed on Heresy and some on KG4.

I'm ordering soft dome tweeter diaphragm for the RF3 that are supposed to be smoother/better than the titanium one so we'll see.

How do those woofers sound, compared to the Vintage era Polk midwoofers?
More open mid range. Bass comparison is not suitable as they use active drivers in ported cabs vs PR in Polks.
