Curious about Vinyl Collections

I sold many of my lps from the '70's. I kept about 200. I got back into it about six years ago. My collection is probably around 1,500. Many are new, heavy weight vinyl. Others are garage sale finds and Of course Jerry's Records here in Pittsburgh.
I went to Jerry's last Sept. for the 1st time. Had a great time but for me it's just to far away to do very often.

I have around 1235 last count here at the house last count. I have probably 2500 at my father in laws in Germany, when I moved back to the states that was a lot of weight to ship back. Next time I visit they will all be crated up and shipped back. Over there it was cool had a store called Musikuss, you could pick out albums to listen to sit at a table with headphones order a beer and sample before you buy over there albums were not shrink wrapped, needless to say it was just more than a place to purchase vinyl, it was a hangout.Home Theater

Sounds like a cool place, would love to visit sometime. I still have an original mono pressing of the Beatles 65 that I purchased new when I was twelve years old. I lost all of my collection (approx. 1000 lps. of classic rock 1st. pressings) and all of my equipment in a bitter divorce many years ago. I have been slowly replacing many of my lost titles over the past few years and have about 250 lps. in the new collection. I have to buy online of drive about 200 miles round trip to visit a record store, so it's a slow process.
