Screw the RT1000p onboard amps.

Well my RT1000p speaks rock again...I bypassed the onboards and went with a DBX xb140
subwoofer power amp, and they sound amazing. almost like a whole new set of speakers.
they sound better than they ever did, I got the DBX off ebey for 69.00...YAHOOOOO!

Curious does the DBX amp fit in the same spot as the internal amp did? That would be a slick move if it did.
I was always curious if the internal driver could be improved with a higher end model.Dan

how did you perform the AMP bypass? I have read it's usually a set of Capacitors that need to be replaced. I was also thinking about just bypassing the amp. Just wondering if it was easily done. Thanks
