Picked up SDA-2 --- Custom blade/blade ideas...

I picked up SDA-2's today.
I posted these here few days ago: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?134423-Vintage-Monitor-and-Sda-Speaker-Deals&p=2031614&viewfull=1#post2031614
But they were still listed so I had to get them.
I know, I'm a sucker.
They didn't have IC cable but I tested them with a speaker cable and all drivers work fine.
Few knicks and scratches but overall look to be in good condition.
What are DIY methods for b/b IC cable?
Thanks

Forget the b/b, convert them to SpeakOn Plugs and Socket/Jacks, and never look back. I'd also recommend disconnecting the Dimensional Tweeters.Home Theater/2 Channel:

I have a B/B cable..
-
Looks like you have some speaker placement issues going on.... but the IC cable depends on $, speakon representing doing it right the 1st time or cheaper alternative with good results from PE. Would second the dimensional tweeter removal.
-
Now thats a good looking bunch of goodies
-
-
Install a 2-pole SpeakOn connector and never think about it again.
-
SpeakOn... hmm... I'll see how cost effective is that compared to B/B IC.
Yes, they look crowded but SDA's are well in front of them without anything in between.
Few pairs from that crowd are/will be up for sale so they'll have to fit tightly until something sells.

SpeakOns are THE standard for Pro Audio now, all over the world. Fool proof, corrosion proof, and no chance of falling out accidentally.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Hmm, now this has me thinking for at least two pairs that I have in need of updated sockets...
I'm assuming it is pretty simple to install these? -

Sonny, why don't you just come by pick up my cable, and use it for awhile, that way you can at least see what these speakers sound like.
Just return it when your done with it..
Also, if you want to go the SpeakOn route I will help you solder and install if you like.. -

Can't beat this offer.....and you're close.... -
Sounds like a plan.
I am just trying these out of curiosity as I never had this model with two tweeters and 3 mids.
I had couple pair of 2B's before.
I'd do speakon if I decide to keep these so b/b cable will do for now.

Curious as to why you would disconnect the dimensional tweeters?

I have a pair of SRS 2's blade/blade and a pair of SDA 2.3's that could use this to start with. The dimensional drivers on my right cabinet on the 2.3's do not produce any sound so I'm hoping its a socket issue, I've tried different interconnect cables. This should fix it, hopefully. -

I have looked into every thing and can't figure it out. Maybe the xovers have something going on, I don't know. They are my fathers but not in use since I got a pair of 1.2TLs for him. I just planned on modding the 2.3s anyway at some point so they are off to the side. The MWs all check out fine. Yes they are pin/blade and in very nice condition otherwise.
