Hi, I am now using a Adcom 565 which seems rather inpressive compared to other Adcom units (tuner preamps) I have tried but would really like a renote. The 710 and 715 come with remote . What is the difference soundwise between the 710 and 715? The other thing I cannot help but wonder about is that the 565 was $800 in the late 80s and the 710,715 ran $600 years later and came with a remote Something has to give here. Is there a drop in sound quality from the 565?? Thanks

I can't speak for the other units but the 565 sounds awsome especialy for the $. The phono pre in it is also way better then one would expect.

According to Polk forum archives. The best Adcom Pre is the GFP-750.

After that the GFP-715 is considered next in line though it is nowhere near as good as the 750.
