Has anyone here heard both, or have an educated opinion on both? I'm in the market for either/or, just not sure about the bass rsponse or output on the 15 vs the 25.
Too many good quotes to list..waiting for some fresh ammo. :)

Personally, I would do the 15s and upgrade the woofers to DB840 SVCs.

I have both...have used both in my HT...and have ultimately settled on the 15s for my current setup.
The 25s are in storage though and will be used when we build. The 15s were just much easier to get dialed in where I have little to no room treatments.

I personally owned the LSi15's due to at the time I didn't want another powers tower. but I did some side by side comparisons and the LSI25's absolutely sound better IMO.
The LSI25's seem to have a better mid range. Not to mention the LSI15's in stock form have pretty weak woofers while the built n subs are damn good in the 25's.

If I had to do it over again I would get the LSI25's.

LSi25's are far superior imo....go for it and pull the trigger!
    Polk audio RT3000p's
Velodyne CHT15's x2 subwoofers! one for each tower
    RT2000i's as surrounds
    CS1000p
    FX500i's

Looking for RT2000i's or RT3000p's...PM me...or click on profile and respond to my WTB ads...thanks!!!

The problem with the LSi25 is the subwoofer amplifier... Sub amps as a whole don't seem to last long and when they die, they are usually unrepairable. I would rather get the LSi15 over the LSi25 for that reason alone...

I'll agree with Jon....hate self powered towers. A good sub with a passive speaker will be miles better than those built in subs/amps. Did I say "miles" ? Light years better.

I own the 25's and have heard the 15's many times. Like Jon & Tony above I have the same opinion. If I was going to do LSi series all over again I would run LSi9's and a pair of 10" subs.

That being said I would actually run LSiM 705 and be done

What are the benefits of the LSiM 705's?
