I have a MM6501 set for my car and I recently noticed that the right side woofer was not playing.
Today I took apart the door panel and looked at the connectors on the back of the woofer. All was okay however still no sound?
Then I put pressure (pushed) on the woofer cone and the sound started playing. What is wrong with the woofer?
I've only had the MM6501 set for 6 months so I am extremely disappointed that this has occurred!!!
Regards,
Jason

If you purchased the set from an authorized dealer, the woofer is covered under warranty. CALL Polk tomorrow and they will take very good care of you.
As to what could be the problem....a broken wire, bad solder joint, funky voice coil, etc.Political Correctness'.........defined

If it's not under warranty and know how to solder i have seen solder failures on the wires that go from the terminal block to the cone on many different brands of speakers, re-soldering some times fixes that, only do that if there is no warrantyThere is no cure....
