psw111 problems

Hello I recently purchased a PSW111 subwoofer and I have a Denon AVR-1513 which has a Subwoofer pre out and on the PSW111 it has a LFE IN on the Right input for the red and white inputs.
Well i have plugged my subwoofer cable (which i also bought brand new) and I cannot get the denon to troubleshoot the sound at all.
I am running a 2.1 system, 2 tower speakers. Which they're working great it's the subwoofer that I cannot get to work. I know the subwoofer is functional because i hear the bass when i plug it in and the connection hits the input it vibrates and buzz like normal subs do when that happens.
Just looking for help because I've exhausted all options, even an RCA Y cable.

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. Usually that kind of problem is related to needing to use the receiver's setup menu to turn the sub-out function "on". Most of the time this can be done by looking for audio setup instructions in the owner's manual of the receiver. A way to check the operation of the sub is to remove the sub-cable from the LFE input and use either the right or left speaker wire into the sub's speaker level input.

I tried to connect the speakers to it and it still did not work with the receiver, i believe it is the receiver since i've tried my phone on the subwoofer and it picked up the bass just fine. But everything in the manual for my receiver that is says i need to do i did, and the subwoofer is not working, is it possible the receiver just doesn't have enough power?

I don't believe the receiver's power is the cause. It might be a good idea to call the receiver company's CS phone number and ask them to run through the setup, getting the sub-out programmed on with you.
The speaker level input should have worked, just a single positive negative speaker wire will be enough.
