Furman or Panamax or Whole Home Surge protection

So I just snagged a APC H15 yesterday for my 2 channel system. 80% of my expensive gear in the house is now protected. But I still need a power conditioner for my bedroom system, which is fairly basic. It consists of a 32" LCD TV, Soundbar 1000, Motorola Router, Modem, Wireless transmitter (for downstairs Uverse box), Roku.
I was going to snag another APC unit, but here's the snag, I need it to be able to filter a Ethernet jack. So I was looking at either Furman or Panamax to see what models I should be looking for online, as well as a baseline for what they tend to go for (if you happen to know).
I am also not against getting a whole home surge protector, but dont know diddly about those as far as cost, what are good brands, etc.
So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Planning in advance here so I am more than ok with waiting for the "right" unit at the "right" price to come along.

I've noticed in many previous threads about surge protection, many have added SurgeX to the brands you've listed. I too, would like to explore the whole house protection option and costs.

Yeah, but IIRC SurgeX doesn't allow for a Ethernet connection to be filtered. Otherwise while they are but ugly, they work good and since its the bedroom, I could hide it easier....
If I have to give up the Ethernet filtered aspect then I may just look at Surge-X unit, though TBH there is a APC H15 on ebay for 100 that would work just fine and is hard to beat at that price."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." For protection a whole house system is nice but in most cases cost prohibitive. Filtering is another issue in itself. A lot of the EMI/RF noise is produced in the home i.e. florescent lighting including the energy bulbs, the transformers in LED fixtures also create line noise.
That is why I prefer a dedicated unit solely for each system2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC

Gotcha Ron. Thanks for the info, both in the post and also via your email to me. I will stick with the dedicated unit per system, and look for some nice used Panamax units on ebay or here as they come up."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." We installed a lot of Furman product. Now we are removing a lot of dead Furman product.
We replaced Furman with Panamax. I use a Furman F1000-UPS in my personal rack for network gear and a Furman line conditioner for amps and stereo equipment.
The Panamax stuff I have been installing for a few years now is very nice and just continues to get better with every change they make to a product line. When my Furman stuff dies it will get replaced with Panamax.
If youre going to spend a lot of money on an item I would look at the 20 amp BlueBolt by Panamax. I think its 2K. 2150 with the remote power management card ( Enet card).

Just picked up a used Panamax Max 500 for my 2ch, first impression is that I did notice a deeper blackness and a bit more detail in the midrange and much more detail at lower volume. Hope to pick up a 5300MX for the HT soon.Family Room HT 7.2/i]:Vizio Oled55h1 Pioneer Elite SC-LX502 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Eversolo DMP A6 Panamax M5300-EXSpeakers Fronts Fluance XF8L Center Polk Audio S35 Side Surrounds Fluance bipolar Rear Surrounds FluanceXF8 Bookshelf Subs SVS PB4000 x2 Living room 2ch: Crown Xli 1500 amp Teac EQ MKII FX Audio X6 Mk II DAC Squeezebox Touch Fluance Signature Tower Speakers Panamax M5100-EXOffice media room:Vizio M50Q6 50" Pioneer Elite VSX LX301 Eversolo DMP-A6 Polkaudio R50 Towers Polkaudio CS 10 Panamax M4300 Monoprice 12" subMaster bedroom:Vizio M55Q7 Pioneer Elite VSX LX302 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Squeezebox Touch Polk audio RTi 6 fronts, Rears Dayton B652 Polk Audio CS10 center Monoprice 12" sub Panamax M5300-EX

I'm a big fan of surgex and they make panel boxes so you can keep them out of sight- move the existing line to the surgeX box, then run a short line to the panel (or put the surgeX box in an attic or crawlspace). You can get them with noise filtering, but as noted, no ethernet protection/ filtering. However, a surge is unlikely to get more than one device down a line: Let's say your xbox isn't protected, a surge might kill it and _maybe_ your switch (which is on a protected circuit), but definitely not anything else attached to the switch.
I've had zero issues since I've been using them and they've got major advantages over MOV based products for surge protection (not so much on filtering).Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19
