Downsizing kinda sucks,, I am offering my pair of Quickies(80 watts) for sale here first.They come with a full compliment of tubes--6CA7's,, 12FQ7's and 12BH7's and 5AR4 rectifier,,and some spares. I have owned these for about 5 years or so. Point to point wiring,sonicaps(added by me) and bypass film caps on the electrolytics(polyprops--can't remember the brand).External bias adjustment,you will need a VM,I will supply the adapter,I would prefer local pickup,,but I will ship if necessary.
I will post pic's in the next day or so--but these amps are pretty close to perfect.These have huge trannies,and were only made for a couple of years.They rarely come up for sale. Please pm me if innarested.Thanks for looking.

How would these compare to Rogue 120 monos? -
I have never heard the Rogue 120's-- the Quicksilvers are not overly "tubey",, they have a nice mid and top end,,with a tight bass,, they are accurate/fast and are built like tanks.JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

I am surprised these great tubes amplifiers are not sold yet. Tubes rule the audio world and these are a part of the ownership.

Look guys, higher end amps here and in the tube world, 80 watts is pretty decent. These are not the same 80 watts your receiver puts out. If your thinking about a 2 channel system, these would fit in with most anything and sound damn fine doing it.

Someone needs to buy these. It is an exceptional amp at a ludicrously low price.
I have know Mike Sanders, the owner and designer of Quicksilver since High School. And he has never put out a product that he wasn't justifiably happy to be using at home. I remember when he first started building tube amps and all the hassle he went through to have proper transformers made to his specs. He must have rejected most of the ones that were submitted due to poor overall performance.
If it didn't sound fantastic he refused to make it.
You won't be making a mistake with these amplifiers. -
