if somebody knows where to get the replacement for mid drivers and tweeters for my SDA2a, i'd appreciate it so much. i emailed polk audios support but i still haven't got an answer. im not an electrician too so i couldn't do the installation myself. i just have to take them to a local electronic audio shop.
problem arises when i crank the volume up. i hear a weird popping sound from one of the drivers or tweeters. im really not sure which one. i just think it's time to replace them too. they are still the originals.
thank you.

Hello jaygax,
I don't have the same model you do, but according to the "sticky" on SDA mods, those are SL2000 tweeters, and MW6510 woofers. The SL2000 tweeters are no longer in production, as I understand it. The replacement is RDO-194-1. As far as I know, the MW6510's are still available. I've had much better luck by calling Polk's customer service group, rather than emailing. I haven't experienced long wait times, and they have been able to provide the parts I asked for (in my case, by number) without delay. Mention that you are a club polk member, it's worth a discount to you. It would behoove you to try to isolate the offending component first, though. Particularly if the problem occurs at higher volume levels, it could be a cabinet problem instead of the drivers. -
The pop is from one of the mid-drivers. As SciFiTom suggested, CALL Polk.
All it takes to replace a driver is a screwdriver. There are two wires connected with Faston's, pull them off noting which goes where and reverse the procedure. A 2 year old could do it.Political Correctness'.........defined

You do know that all 2 year old's are not created equal and there are people that should not be allowed anywhere near a screwdriver or wires, PFB need I say more.

Thanks a lot! I'll call them on Monday and order those. -
