Original owner, Monitor 7s with original stands. $100.00 off CL. Very rare for my corner of New England. Cabs are 8 out of 10, all drivers fully functional, grills are dusty, but not injured. Stands are nearly perfect cept for one corner nick. Worth a half hours drive. I've become a hoarder.......

I have a pair of the Monitor 7s, and I AM the original owner, circa 1980. I've never seen the stands, though. Cool! They've moved through my main system, and on into the bedroom now, but I still like them. Nice! Perhaps some day I should give them some attention, too.

These are going to get a lot of attention. Most likely a gift for my Son, when he finishes his Masters, and moves out of my ex's place.
His first apt should have a comfy bed, and a good music system to start. Everything else can come later.

I know nothing about tubes, this thing is unusual looking to say the least, gonna snap some pics of it if possible and post them later this evening. Probably end up being junk.

Nice..., got mine for the same price w/original stands. Mine are from 1985 in Rosewood laminate. After the having Trey do the crossovers, Larry's rings and new seals man do they sound sweet, oh yes, replaced the SL tweets as well...

We found not much of anything!!! The seller did have a Sansui 9090db, no price yet, seller said he needs to figure out what he wants for it. Couldn't plug it in, power protection light comes on or so he says and maybe some other issues he is not sure about.

As far as the tube pics, not wasting your time, was a Bogen M330A microphone mixer amp that he called a stereo amp "vintage/rare/in high demand". Same guy from above.

The other tube "whatever it was, is home made.

But the best part of the shopping trip was the other guy there who made the speaker cone repair reccomendation of pure clear silicone over the entire cone "even over the dust cap" to repair any old torn speakers I might find someday.

Just smiled and nodded, went to bw3's had some wings a beer and had a chuckle..

Good on ya Dave, your son is a very lucky young man to be the recipient of such a fine pair of speakers. I'm sure that when you're finished with them, they will be awesome, inside and out.

They are, that's why I snagged a pair of SDA 1.2TL's up fast when I was there and saw them on CL up in CT, right over the boarder.

I picked these up in Glastonbury CT, just east of Hartford. Tons of Polk Auto speakers, and newer HT stuff, but Vintage is rare.

Nice looking, great shape and a great deal. I'm on the hunt for some Monitor 7's or some 8T's myself but haven't seen any show up on CL around my house.
