I was looking at some of the discounts we get through our Employer, Gym Memberships, Autos, Cell phones, etc, etc. I decided to look at electronics seems we get discounts through Magnolia, and World Wide Stereo, we get deep discounts through World Wide Stereo I got some pretty good quotes on 5 flagship AVR's today they are as follows.

Denon 4520ci-$1875
Marantz SR7008-$1500
Yamaha RX3030-$1725 (this ones drawing my attention)
Pioneer SC77 $1775
Arcam 600-$1999 (this one is spose to be pretty good says the CS rep) never heard of them

So fellow Polkies anyone ever Deal with them? I guess we get one heck of a discount as most of those prices are $540-$600 under list price. They are not refurbs brand new and they are a authorized dealer. These prices are shipped to the door. Does anyone have that Yammy running some Rtia's courious to how it sounds Bright like some say? the Yammy and Arcam are the ones I cant demo.

I have purchased from them. They have great deals from time to time and have always treated me right. I would buy the Pioneer SC77 out of that list, because of theQDEO video processing capabilities...believe me it makes a difference on your picture and another reason is the sound is fantastic. I own the SC57, 55, 63 and an 07.....I guess I'm a little biased :)

YMMV depending on your needs and system you are putting together...

The Guys at World Wide are awesome. I would also go with the SC-77, I find it to be the very best out of the listed AVR's.
