    Fun looking setup!

Curious, Had you considered FXiA6's for the rear?

Oh, you bet I did. LOL I was over budget on every piece as it was, the a6's would've just been too much. I really jumped my receiver up, so after that, the a6's were just a dream. The only thing I was really on the fence over, and would've spent the extra $ on were the fronts, a5 vs a7. Due to the recommendations on this forum, I went with the a5's with the large sub and couldn't be happier.

I find the a3's sound fine for rears, but would be easy to change out in the future if I want to. If I had around $1000 fall on my doorstep tomorrow, I'd get another sub. I think it would be absurd in a very good way if I had another PRO660 on the other corner behind my sofa.

I've won her over, she loves it.

Good for you man, that one always works.I think we all got the your crazy look at first.
I put in our best of James Taylor cd while we were making dinner tonight and she kept commenting on how good it sounds. Then I put in best of Otis Redding, and when the intro to Try a Little Tenderness came on she made another comment.

    And somebody has good taste.Enjoy

So much more impressive looking than an in-wall speaker. Guys like to measure the size of their...speakers.

Nice setup. One thing I would like to recommend trying is pulling the sub out slightly and try not to have the sides equidistant to the walls to avoid cancellations. For example, 6" on one side and 10" on the other, doesn't take much to make a big difference....enjoy!

More than that, an 80hz wave is around 14' in length. :)

Ideally you want subs placed 1/4 the width of the area from walls. Not always practical or doable but it's better in theory. In practice do a sub crawl test. Lots of good info on sub crawl testing out there. :)

I can't do much with it because it's behind a recliner, but what if I turn it at an angle as seen below, that way I don't have entire sides against the wall.

But after thinking about it, that shouldn't matter because the speaker itself is round and that's what needs to come off the wall a bit, not the enclosure, right? I could it spin it every which way and it shouldn't affect the placement of the down firing speaker.
