I need help with excel as I'm trying to get it to graph a logged number of occurrence. If I'm already tracking AM, PM, and NOC in a spreadsheet, how can I graph the number of times each those are logged so I can look for trends. I'm pretty good with number graphing and chart, but have never done something non-numaric like this in excel.

Thanks for the help!

Man good luck with that, I can't use Excel either. I wonder if You tube has some videos on how to use it the way you need? I suggest gong over there.

Thanks and I'll check out YouTube. I'm actually pretty decent at Excel, but I've only graphed from numeric formulas, and this isn't quite that...

Would the TREND function be of any use for this? Like: = INTERCEPT (known Y values, known X values, New X Value, Const)

I once was a whiz with Excel. Could write a formula for about anything I needed. But that was years ago.
