Hello,
I've just bought my first home theatre and opening up the instructions to my sub has confused me big time.
I THOUGHT i would connect my Sub using a Monster 300 subwoofer interconnect but Polk recommends i run my front L & Rs through the sub with speaker wire.
SO which is best?
My components are below.
Thanks,
Court.
Receiver - Yamaha RXV 740
Speakers - RM6700s
Sub Woofer - PSW 303

The original idea you had is perfect for your application. Use the MC M300 Interconnect to connect your subwoofer to the AVR.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Make sure to use the LFE connection on the 303 and select the highest xo frequency the Yammy allows (hopefully around 120-150 Hz).
Set the sub level to -5 on the Yammy and adjust the subwoofer volume at the 303."What we do in life echoes in eternity"
