How I REMOVE HOT GLUE **** Hint Freeze Spray ****

I have read alot of the forums here and always come across the HOT GLUE issue and how to remove it. The easiest way I have found is to take freeze spray or just take a can of duster spray and turn it upside down and spray the liquid on the HOT GLUE you would like to remove - make sure you get it really cold and while the liquid is still on the glue you can just pop it off with a screwdriver. The glue becomes so hard it looses it's stickiness and will just break off in chunks. You will notice as the liquid dissipates the glue will become soft again and you will need to apply more freeze spray.

I have read the Isopropyl alcohol method in some of the forums which obviously must work but takes longer. I hope this idea helps somebody if you are willing to give it a try - I have been using this method for years :-)

If you have good luck with it let me know.

You didn't look in the right place... I've always just scraped it off myself, so don't feel too bad.

Hey, I just wonder, would grain neutral spirits (aka vodka) work as well! :-)

    Why waste good vodka!

If your Vodka is made from "wood grain" it no wonder you can't see.....

Oops! Corrected the typo -- "wood" should have been "would."

I also think gin is "grain neutral spirit," not vodka.

I'm really not much of drinker of distilled spirits -- generally only single malt.

Well I'll tell you what, looking at my SDA-1C's they were not stingy on the glue in some places WOW that is a lot of glue. :-) Got the drivers out tonight while listening to my SDA-2A's cranked up, sound really good with a Carver TFM-35, might have to bust out the big guns and use my Carver M1.5t or Hafler 9505 :-). Glad this thread has helped somebody
