Polk Melee Question

Hi,

I just received my pair of Polk Melee gaming head phones from the Mountain Dew promotion that just ended. First off the sound on the head phones is great, feel comfortable and came with no issues. My issue is, this might be me being nit picky, but the mic is a little difficult to click. I really have to press the tip of the mic with some force to open it and close it. I didn't know if this is a design feature or if over time it will become a little easier to open. I have gotten use to clicking it in the right place, but wanted to know if this is a known issue or not.
