    Scottty -

My condolences. Keep this in your thoughts: Memories are the only thing we take with us and leave behind with those we love.

    Sunrise doesn't last all morning
A cloudburst doesn't last all day
Seems my love is up and has left you with no warning
Its not always going to be this grey

    All things must pass
    All things must pass away

    Sunset doesn't last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this, my love is up and must be leaving
Its not always going to be this grey

    All things must pass
    All things must pass away
    All things must pass
None of life's strings can last
So, I must be on my way
    And face another day

Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
Its not always going to be this grey

    All things must pass
    All things must pass away
    All things must pass
    All things must pass away

All Things Must Pass - George Harrison 1943-2001

My thoughts are with you & yours.

I cant find the words to tell you everything i want to, im sorry, but you all know how much i appreciate everything.

Please dont worry about flowers, a small gravesid ceremony tom. at 11 is all she wanted.

After spending 13 days with her in the I.C.U at emory in atlanta, 200 miles from home because of pnuemonia, and enduring the brutal things they have to do to try and save a life, we organized a mass prayer among hundreds of people, most of whom we did not, and will never know.

At 11 am yesterday, i went to the parklike setting behind the hospital because debs beloved birds were singing away in the trees.

as i prayed the bell tower started to toll, after ten minutes of focused hard praying for mercy for deb, we were all done.

I slowly made my way back to her room, our home for two weeks, and heard outside the door,"Can anyone get a pulse"

I was there in time for them to clear out to talk to her, to kiss her sweet face and be with her as the machines told me god had taken her home.

I had been out of gods light many times in those awful days, its a horrible place to be.

I had cursed god, asked how he could let this angel suffer her whole life, and now this constant torture and fear.

What i did not realize until fri. night was that god was with us, he was sparing her the agony of lying at home, being eaten away for months by her cancer, and as soon as we all cried out together for mercy, within the time it took me to walk back, he had said, "OKAY, GO TO HER"

I am writing this just to help anyone who is or will be facing any crisis, dont doubt god,he is with you, dont go into the darkness, its awful.

She is free for the first time in 54 years, and she is with me always.

    thank you all, god bless.

For anyone interested, I have Scotty's address. I plan on sending a card or flowers or something.

I think it would ROCK if a bunch of us bombarded him with cards. PM me if you want it.
