What speakers to use for surrounds with LSi9's
Hi I have a pair of LSi9's and was wondering what Polk speakers would best match them tonally? Im thinking of using them as fronts in a 5.1 or 7.1 system. I originally wanted to get the LSiM series for the fronts and use the LSi9's for surround duty but I think it's a little out of my budget right now. Thanks.

The LSi FX speakers are the surround matches to the LSi 9's.
However I ran FXi3's with my LSi 9's and they worked out great.
Usually you can find the current FXi A4/6 on the Polk ebay page for pretty good prices and they should work out great. -
To my ears anything else in the Polk like is quite tonally different from the LSi's
More LSi 9's or LSi7's. If you want di/bipole surrounds the LSiF/X would work.Up

Ding ding ding....right answer, usually not so picky about surrounds but "24" is correct. Only other option is in used pair of LC60i, LC65i, or LC80i in ceiling speakers2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC

Thanks everyone. I tried to find some LSi's locally but have been unsuccessful so turned to ebay. I found a couple of options there and tried to buy a pair of LSi15’s with free shipping but the seller messaged me that he should have stated it was free only in the continental US. He got a quote but I don’t think I want to pay the shipping price, it’s a lot. So looks like I may end up having to get some new speakers, thanks again.
