Kids definitely pick up on tunes, quick, nice! Mine started very young as well but the music was WAY different. Sorry, can't stand rap in any form, or whatever it's called nowadays...

She also likes electronic music, country music, and some classical. I try not to make her listen to toooo much rap...

Yup, we've been working on that . It always helps that right now there are some PHENOMENAL douglas speaker cables and IC's in the mix.

Dan, that's awesome. It's the coolest feeling when the little ones start showing interest in your life. Mine are only 2 and 3, but the oldest will say daddy, let's play a record. Then I'll carefully let him drop the needle lever and we'll all dance.

Skye is 'totes adorbes' by the way :)

    Congrats man.

Ender, is there a body rolled up in that carpet in the right corner? It sure looks suspicious! Are you about to do some "concrete work" in the basement before you sell your house? Don't forget to use lime! Did your taste in music kill the person?

Lol the remote doesn't control what song is playing. Just the volume and input switching.... And she only knows how to turn it up to eleven right now (true story).

Well the goal is get her hooked now so its a Daddy and Skye thing... So I can then leverage that to get better 2 channel gear for myself as she gets older .

I already have a set of cheap Sony speakers for her room, just waiting on the right piece of gear to power them and let her listen to the radio.

Thanks Andre! Hoping all is well with you and yours. Haven't seen you around much.

We celebrated her 1st bday today (it was actually the 4th) and she was in heaven with cake and books!

Hope my soldering gun and dremel kit are still performing good for you

Things are very well. Thanks :)

I took a "vacation" at the request of some members. Didn't enjoy it here, didn't want to come around. But I've signed in more times this week than the last six months. Some good people here in the "family".

And the tools have been great!
