    Great defensive games go through 12 possesions before a score is made. I'm not disagreeing with you russ. Just an after thaught.I am pro AFC and voted(hehehehehe) for the Pats but half way through the game i found myself pulling for the Panthers. They had a number of oppertunities to fold it up and call it a night. I also beleive coaching lost it for them and a inexcusible KO. I figured they would be out coached that is why I "voted" for the Pats. The Panthers played with heart. It was an enjoyable game but it was also remanisent of superbow ****. Featuring the favorite Cowboys and under dog Steelers. That game too was lost by a couple of dumb **** plays. It still stung to watch Steve Sable give the play by play on NFL Films 8yrs later.What i am trying to say is i know how the Panther fans feel. I wish them good luck next year as long as they ain't playing the Steelers.

    Near the end of the first quarter I was getting bored, glad i stuck with it. Even though I was pulling for the Pats, I found myself getting fired up over every good play regardles of who made it. My son was kind of surprised and asked why I was cheering for both teams. My response was that both teams were making some fantastic plays and recognizing that makes for a more enjoyable game. We spent the second half screaming and dancing around like lunatics.....and had a blast! Both teams played with a lot of heart, and thats what it's all about. Sure the Patriots won, but the Panthers really made them work for it.

    Thank you sid. I think. I saw these guys were pounding on you pretty good. I figured you could use a little help. Like i said it was a bitter pill to swallow when it happened to my Stellers. I know how you feel brother. The only thing that will make it go away is the next super bowl win or loss. Ain't that a ****
