Bad Polk 3000?

Hi. I have a client with a Polk 3000. The sub is thumping at random and will continue to do so until the entire system has been rebooted. You can imagine he is not happy.

He also has to down grade his audio in all his devices to PCM since the 3000 does not decode doby.

Can you help? He would love to work with Polk to upgrade. but I can't offer a good enough deal.
