"Who's the black private dick / That's a sex machine to all the chicks? / SHAFT! / Ya damn right!"

I would have never guessed that The Theme From Shaft - Isaac Hayes was ever a #1 in the US except for that it apparently was on my birthday. I suppose that explains my affinity for Isaac Hayes and my willingness to risk my neck for my brother man.

Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright) - Rod Stewart. Ughh....
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Yeah it's funny going back and looking at the old #1's. I think Elvis took over Perry Como's #1 spot when he released Heart Break Hotel

UK - "Massachusetts" by the Bee Gees

US - "To Sir With Love" by Lulu

Lulu would go on to marry Maurice Gibb (RIP) of the Bee Gees. I like to think my birth has something to do with bringing those 2 together.
