Onkyo Bluray

Well a few weeks back I thought I had my Onkyo receiver sold, but that did not happen. So that said I was thinking a matching Bluray player but I had no experiences with the players. Just looking for reasons why they are good or why not. Thanks everyone, I always get the information I need since day one since joining the forum.

    Check out the Oppo Blu-Ray players hard to beat unless you are just trying for matching gear.

    Well my current TV isn't 3d, so im not really looking for a 3d player. I stumbled on a local Craigslist add for a player that matches my NR809 receiver as far as look are concerned for $85. If they make decent players I figuered maybe they'd take less considering its been posted for a while. I am in between houses at the moment living in an apartment, so until I can get another house with an HT room I don't have to get top of the line at the moment, as I can use whichever I buy now in a different room later when I upgrade. Just thought it would look good with matching equipment. On a side note, I know Onkyo has HDMI issues with receivers, so I figured I would seek comments on the Bluray players.

    Thanks for the advice mantis, I am going to offer $50 and maybe they will accept. I know the Onkyo Bluray players rarely pop up for sale, so I figured it is because the people that have them do not want to sell them.

    Sony Blu-Ray players are what I have and one of the reasons is because I can play SACD with them and they are affordable, new.
