I have different speaker cables than AQ I believe...I'll post late tonight when I get home. And yes...I think burn-in is next step :)

Speaker cables are AQ Gibralter and the IC are AQ Sidewinders. Listening now, but at low levels.

The Gibralters are in AQ's "Flat Rock" series.

I used to run the Rockefellers which are one step down.

My experience - they were quite....revealing.

I'm currently running MIT Shotgun S2s and have better overall results in my system - more 'neutral' w/o giving up transparency.

I used to run the Sidewinders - very good value.

Also tried AQs King Cobras (muddled bass), Colorados(crunchy), and MITs Shotgun S3(loose).

Right now I'm using AQ Jaguars - the 'Goldilocks' for jusstt right.

F1nut has the best advice right now - let the M6i break in.

Experimenting with cables can come later.

It already sounds better than it did yesterday. I let the 'defrost' before running it, but it probably sat in a fed ex truck for a day. Maybe just coming up to a normal temp, and playing a lot will help.
