It's a rough time for Cathy and I

To start off with my father is in the hospital with a bleeder in his head. This is more than likely due to a fall he had at my house on Christmas Day. It must have been bleeding in his head since that day and no one knew. On Friday my youngest sister called him to see how he was doing and he couldn't put 2 words together. Now to Sunday, he's in Overlook hospital and will need neurosurgery or he will most surely die. The problem is he's been on blood thinners for years and we are told if they do the surgery now he could bleed out and perish. The plan is to keep an eye on him for 5 to 7 days to allow the Plavix time to leave his system before they attempt the surgery.

Now to Cathy's mom,

Cathy's mom has been in surgery twice in the past few days trying to get a pace maker to work. What was once thought to dementia is now believed to have been many small strokes. Once she has
completed rehab she will unfortunately need to go straight to nursing home.

Needless to say we are both very stressed out at the moment.

    Oh my Bill you sure need some prayers and wishes and we are the guys to help.

    A good thing is that Overlook is a good hospital so care should be good. Ya gotta keep the faith somehow and listening to some tunes may help. Best of luck and please let us know if we can help.
