Who wants to demo some hdmi cables in home ?

They are very high quality but low priced for what you get. There will be 4 lengths, 0.5 1,2 and 3 meters to choose should you participate. There will be no payment needed to try it, I spoke highly of this forum and its always nice to try new cables out so let me know and I will get it going.

    PFB - I'm interested, but just got Audioquest Chocolates for Christmas and have been VERY impressed. How would these HDMI cables compare? Thanks

    They might surprise you as there's no middle man or marketing involved in the cost of them. There is no fancy packaging and it should only cost about 3 dollars to pass them on.

    Hey PFB,I'm just wondering,what exactly does a better hdmi cable do?Does it give me more one's and zero's?Or do the one's and zero's become 2 and 3?.

    Less noise for picture and less digital jitter for audio, now I wont jump down your throat for mocking us that have spent 3 figures on hdmi and usb cables. When I first heard of expensive usb cables I was just disgusted and though what kind of chump buys those. Now I am one of those chumps so before being sarcastic, try keep an open mind.

    I'd love to give the 2M a try. When does the demo start?

    I would definitely be interested in giving them a shot. I "moved up" to Audioquest Cinnamon for my HT, would like to see if these are any different.

    BTW, northern, I hope you are just poking fun at this thread. If not, why not give something new a try before condemning the results?? (see my sig)
    So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    Sorry It was a joke.I'm honestly curious because I actually bent one of my dollar store hdmi cable and the picture for my blu ray still looks the same....When it comes to speaker cable's Ill keep a open mind but just don't really have the fund at the moment to indulge,but for hdmi from my experince,it either works or it doesn't.Hence the reason I ask,just wondering what some of you see that I'm missing on with my bent tip dollar store hdmi cable.

    Well if your looking for just a small improvement in the picture quality the a good cable will be very marginally better than your ole bent tipper. For music however I guess I would not want to be using that cable of yours from my digital transporter to my dac.

    Here is tip for you North, buy a darbee dvp if your only looking to improve picture quality.

    Good tip,seems reasonable as I probably wouldn't want to use my dollar store hdmi for a dac either lawl.

    I just purchased 2 Audioquest Chocolates ( 2-m ) for the oppo 105 but am not quite set up yet for any reviewing. I will be looking for the results thou....

    It's all good, northern. But if you look around here, you will find hours of reading material on whether cables matter. lol

    FWIW, I noticed a marked improvement in PQ going from a monoprice special to an Audioquest Forest, believe it or not. And that
    was a 3' run from a Roku to a 37" Sammy LCD...
    So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    I'll be curious in everyones findings.
    I'll try a 1m and a 3m so I can complete the chain from the Blu ray player to the Receiver to the TV. I currently use Audioquest and stopped there. Cinnamon is what I use. I took home some Chocolate and didn't find any improvements. I didn't bother with Carbon but might one day.

    I had replaced all my HDMI's with the Pangea. I been really happy with them compared to what I had been using, which were Amazon basic's and Mediabridge.
