SDA CRS+ Cap upgrade question

Yes I am. Was going to originally, but got talked out of it because I was running them on the receiver. So, I just put new polys in back in 2009. Already have a set of Mills 0.5 ohms sitting around, so will put them in while I have it all opened up. Picked the amp up last night from my friends home where he runs his business. Incredible home theater room at his place. Runs a top of the line Marantz preamp with a set of Bryston amps. He is a Martin Logan dealer, so you can imagine what the speakers sound like. HT room is soundproof to the outside and inside is acoustically neutral. Beautiful. He only does super high end jobs like that, so he goes in and sets Home Theaters in multimillion dollar homes. I was telling my kids that the HT room alone cost more than our entire house.

A lot has happened since I originally posted this thread. Figured I'd add to what happened in the end. I replaced the Onkyo with a Marantz AV7701 Preamp and I'm running the SDA 2A set on a Parasound 2250. The five surround/center speakers are now on an Emotiva XPA-5. Needless to say it has been a move up.

Another good read/ thread. This cleared up some confusion on enclosure volumn. So we can conclude that all CRS internal volumes are 1.04 cu. ft.?Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.
