Wasn't R.D. Jr. in a band years ago when he was just a kid?

He has sung in several of his movies and also when he was on Ally McBeal. I think he has a Christmas song that still gets airplay.

That RDJ is one talented cat! Saw him do "Every Breath You Take" on Ally McBeal with Sting several years ago and he crushed that, too.

Another one that's a major (triple-threat!) talent that I've really been enjoying lately is Jimmy Fallon. Who knew with that guy?! He will make Jay Leno look like such an amateur, in comparison, when he takes over the Tonight Show next month. Absolutely NOTHING is spontaneous with Leno and he can't get through one interview without staring constantly at his note cards the whole time, even with people he's known for years! And every interview is scripted from start to finish, or every statement of his is setting up a dumb joke of his guest's. He's truly become painful to watch.

RDJ released an album on Sony Music, I believe, right before he got the Ironman role.

Excuse me, but "how" do you "act" a singing voice if you're tone deaf or can't follow the rhythm or tune? Next I suppose I'll be hearing that he can act Chopin and play one of his Etudes, flawlessly?

Have to give the guy credit for the performance, pretty impressive. Does anyone KNOW if he's had any "training" or previous experience in a band, even a very youthful band in his "past"?

He was emulating Sting pretty well, IMO. He sounded like he had heard Sting sing many times and was trying to "match" Sting's singing. But, he did it very well. Nice job!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I have to say, I never had much respect for RDJr with all his arrests etc. I figured he was just another privileged kid that was washed up. I have since gained lot of respect for him, finally getting his act together. A consistent, formidable actor, who can carry a tune quite well.
