    Does't do anything bi-amping with a receiver.

Ok maybe I am wording it wrong. Is there any advantages to hooking up the surround/front high to my speakers ? And the front channels?

There is a disadvantage. The more channels you use on that AVR, the less wpc it can provide. Honestly, you shouldn't expect much from a $499.00 list, $150.00 street price AVR.

    Found some specs, 130 W/Ch (6 Ohms, 1 kHz, 1% THD, 1 Channel Driven)

That's at 6 ohms, your speakers are 8 ohms, so the actual wpc will be even less AND that's with only one channel driven AND 1% THD too boot! They don't even list the weight for this thing.

Hi welcome, enjoy your receiver and speakers. Later on you will get something else.
Hooking it up normally will provide a decent listening level and there is nothing to
gain as you would still be borrowing from your single power supply on board. Hopefully
you have only a moderate size room and don't plan on getting crazy with the loudness.

    This ^^^

Congratulations!! The M70's are a potentially great speaker! Before upgrading your M70's, consider upgrading the power, the 70's love the power.
