    It's a shame your missing out on the newer surround codecs. Miles ahead of DD/DTS.

    Its an oldie, from around 1996 I think, but for a good sub workout I like The Event Horizon. Not a great movie but not bad. The opening scene when the ship passes hits extremely hard with my SVS about mid level.

    the newer release of polar express and a christmas carol, both i belive from disney, wre pretyy heavy with SFX and bass,i think they would be great to test it out, may be cheap currently as christmas is over, but idk, havent been in an american retail store for 11 months now,

    Batman: The Dark Knight, in blu-ray, is excellent for testing your HT system.Also, the pod race scene in Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace, in blu-ray, is great.
