Whats up everyone?
I was looking around and really noticed the New Camaro. When it came back out a few years ago, I thought it was one badass looking ride but never put any stock into owning one.
I'd like in the future to get into another car for play. I'd like to get some kind of sports car. I was checking out the Audi S5 and really like it. I know the Camaro and Audi are different worlds but The Camaro is intriguing to say the least.
I got away from American Muscle but it's always been there for me.
I had a Firebird back in the day which ran 13.8's in the 1/4 and then I went for a Grand National which I got it to 11.6 in the 1/4.
Today my ET times are not that important to me as I think a cool road car would be fun.
I was peaking around and saw some cool videos on the Camaro's. I did however notice that some people are tricking out the v6 model to better then the v8 model performance with better gas milage due to the lighter car.
This is fun who knows anything about these cars? I like the new Z/28 thats coming out and the current SS model but if the v6 LE model is the way to go and then add a Supercharger and some aftermarket upgrades , I'm all ears.
Lets talk American muscle for a minute.

I think Larry, Toolfan has one. Wishing I had one. Saw the new Z28 at the Car Show last winter, WOW.

Here's mine..
It's a 2011 2SS/RS it's a V8, I love it, and have a lot of fun in it, with the color and style it turns heads. There are a lot of badass V6's out there, but the suspension is better, and having the brembo brakes is a plus in the V8 IMO.
The new Z/28 will be a sweet car, but it is built more for the track, just as the original Z/28's of the 60's where.
There is a huge difference between the Z/28 and the Z28, don't confuse the two.
The ZL1 is the way to go IMO, supercharged, 580hp, one badass car, I have been tempted to trade up, but I love the color of my car, and it was a limited run, and there is only about 2000 SS''s V8's..
The 1LE is an SS with track pack suspension..
I plan to do coil overs this spring, I want to lower the car, and not hurt the handling of the car..

The Camaro looks great from the outside. Sitting in it was another story. too closed in.
I had a 1969 back in the day. Still would be my 1st choice.
I've seen the retro rods versions with modern Corvette drive trains, and would
like to build one some day. The Mustang was the choice for me. The new v6 version
is no slouch, and the v8 would of gotten me a bunch of tickets. A local dealer had a left over
Roush this summer (2012 leftover) at a huge discount. It was as cheap as the v8 Camaro or
Mustang. And a whole lot faster. I went over to look, didn't drive it. That would of been
too much like sampling crack. 540HP of fun and frolic."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
I think the Challenger looks pretty cool. R/T models can get a bit pricey though. I sat in a Camaro and could barely see out of the thing. I think I might hurt someone if I actually drove it.

Hopping up a V-6 with a supercharger ain't ch ch ch ch cheap!! I guess you could get a used one (oh boy) and save there, but then you got the shop rate, unless you are a wrenchturner yourself with the room and the time.
Or you could buy the V-8 and be set. Or not, depending on the need for speed that you desire.

I'm hoping the new Mustang redesign pressures Chevy to redo the Camaro.
It needs to go on a diet and get better driver visibility. They were going for a
chopped top look. Look back to the original and fix it."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -

They are, and will, the 6th gen Camaro should be awesome. I'm not excited with the new mustang just yet, but I need to see one with my own eyes before I judge it.
I'm a big fan of all three. But nothing is as cool as the Aventador.. LOL!!Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎
