After some consulting w/ members here I decided to go ahead w/ the heavy duty I/C cable. The Neutrik base modules and sleeves came yesterday and I got to work. I'm using a 10 gu cable and hearing those twist locks click in is just worth it right there. On listening picking up more definition for sure even my Au less ears can hear this. Happy,oh ya so far not a failure on anything I've attemped and certainly pleased w/ the results. I had some godd advice and instruction along the way. For a big $16 and change and wire for free this is a no brainer. I did shoot some pics but as said before my ability to post signature and load pictures has gone away and will be sorted out after the new year w/ Polks I/T dept.so they promised.

Very nice Glad you could tell a difference

Nice work, keep it up!Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Without a doubt.I tried all different sources and it comes out kinda more pronounced w/more definition is the best way I can describe this. I think all that's left is the x-overs which might have to wait a bit. I love the idea of this what I'll call a lending library to try out the MIT speaker cables that ordinarily I could never afford. That's the real test and very curious on what difference there truely is w/ a named cable and the 12 gu that I have now.2chl- Adcom GFA- 555-Onkyo P-3150v pre/amp- JVC-QL-A200 tt- Denon 1940 ci cdp- Adcom GFS-6 -Modded '87 SDA 2Bs - Dynamat Ext.- BH-5- X-Overs VR-3, RDO-194 tweeters, Larry's Rings, Speakon/Neutrik I/C- Cherry stain tops Advent Maestros,Ohm model E

By the way, even better than the custom cable is a Dreadnaught. Buy you need to crawl before you walk.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

LOL.....I know exactly what you mean.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."
