rt20p repair

I have a set of RT20p speakers and one of my mid drivers has voice coil rub...at low volumes it sounds fine, at higher volumes it starts distorting terribly. I tried rotating the driver 180 degrees and ran it for a few days but that did not help (maybe it helped a bit but not completely...)
I love these speakers and need advice here...
1-Should I wait longer and see if the rotation works (or is that an urban legend)
2-Can someone recommend a suitable new driver that will work OK.
3-Is it worth sending it somewhere for repair? About what would that cost?
Any help appreciated.
