So my other overtly expensive hobby is auto racing and if it's your only hobby the off season can suck in snow states, Miller Motorsports Park makes it a little better by offering WinterCross. They run various configurations of the track with the corners necked down to keep speeds reasonable and allow pretty much anything to run, one car at a time solo style, and we get timed.
They've been doing it for a few years but I've been waiting for a good snow covered track to go play on, finally got my chance, and I took my '94 Ford Explorer. Hilarity ensued.

We never get farther West than the Olympic Oval in Kearns. Ordered a gift from Salt Lake Friday afternoon, the postman delivered it Monday afternoon.

We are in Cleveland, but we sometimes downhill ski and speedskate in/near Salt Lake. -
Ah nice! Skiing is my other big hobby, I'm a weekend ski patroller at Canyons...as if auto racing and audio don't take enough time
