    Congratulations. Welcome to Club Traveler!

FYI, I can tell you that the two cartridges VPI seem to recommend most for the Traveler are Grado and Ortofon. I've got the Grado Sonata, and I listened to an Ortofon when I visited their headquarters. Both will put a smile on your face. I've not heard the Dynavector, but I'd advise you to try to get your ears on the Grado and Ortofon before making a final decision.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll keep my eyes (and ears) out for those. For now I'm going with the Dynavector, which has recommendations from several sources on the internet as well as the salesman I demoed with behind it. But when I inevitably want to mix things up a bit I'll be thinking of Grado and Ortofon!!

And thanks to everyone for the congratulations as well as the input and support on this thread. This is a really great forum full of really great people.

Just took the VPI Traveler home tonight, and finished setting it up a couple albums ago. I'm very, very happy with it. It's a very handsome turntable with a great sound! Looking forward to many years of beautiful music.

Congrats on your new table, I'm also a VPI owner and couldn't be happier with my decision. Nothing like NO buyers remorse! Enjoy!

Nice! Congrats and enjoy! Welcome to Club Traveler.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
